EnChroma is very well-known for their color-blind correctional glasses, addressing the very common problem of green-red colorblindness since 2010. They do more than produce eyewear; they give all their customers the emotional gift of color. Color is emotional, experiential, and tactical. It affects every part of our lives. With a brighter, multicolored brand language, EnChroma now displays that raw, emotional experience that color brings to our lives every day.

Branding Materials

EnChroma’s current branding is cold, scientific, and more retail forward than the emotional response their lenses bring. After thorough research and ideation, it was deemed best to unite the scientific and emotional aspects of EnChroma. While EnChroma is unable to completely correct color vision deficiency, they do shorten the gap, allowing users a new curious perspective of the world they thought they knew.

Advertising & Marketing

One in 12 men (8%) and one in 200 women (. 5%) are color vision deficient; affecting an estimated 13 million in the United States and 350 million worldwide. However, there has yet to be true radical awareness of the daily effects and solutions available to aid in some of these difficulties. In order to reach EnChroma’s audience, both digital and printed advertising were utilized, celebrating the simple happiness of color.

Interactive Channels

Before the user could order their or their loved one’s EnChroma package, there are certain decisions to be considered. This includes the type of color vision deficiency, the intensity of the deficiency, and the distinction between inside and outside settings. There are two ways EnChroma products could be introduced, through a digital portal or through an optometrist.

Package Materials

EnChroma celebrates color through everything they do, including when the package arrives at the door. Within each package, the user is greeted with a card announcing that color is finally here. Multi-color balloons with personality are included to be blown up as a surprise event. The case holds the gift that introduces a brighter worldview.
